Legend Rare Coin Auctions Market Report
Now that we are back in the office for a week digesting the results of the FUN show, we can tell you the market is starved for great coins. Because there is no large supply of fresh, high end coins, collectors are paying strong premiums for the few coins that do pop up. We can tell you that our 349 lot Regency Auction is full of great coins, especially high end three cent silvers, early type coins and better gold. If you have not yet taken a look at the lots, there are two weeks left. There are spectacular coins to be had coins that will fit any collector’s set.
This is LAST CALL for any consignments for the January Sessions sale. Our photographer will be in on Monday, January 15. If your coins can be in our office by noon Monday, we will be able to fit your coins into the sale. At this point, we have 100 hand selected coins, featuring a great selection of Morgan and Peace dollars that really do stand out. Bidding will start on January 18.
At the recent FUN show, we started getting some great coins for our Regency Auction 26 in May being held in New Orleans. While we are two months away from the consignment deadline there is strong demand for the limited space in our sale. Consign your coins early to ensure your spot in our sale. Whether you have one rarity, a handful of duplicates, or an entire collection, contact us now to consign. Julie Abrams and Greg Cohen will work with you from start to finish—from the first phone call or email to consignment settlement. As we have proven time and again, our boutique style auctions bring out the big buyers and get you the strongest prices—look what we did for Bob Simpson, Phil Flannagan, The Coronet Collection, David Hall, and many other important consignors since we started in 2012.
